The A1 battery expansion kit allows the bike battery to be fast charged (3-6 hours) while also allowing the bike battery to function as a portable power station, supplying electricity to a wide range of electronic devices and appliances such as mobile phones, lap tops, lamps, induction cookers, etc. Note that the kit itself needs to be connected to a bike battery to output power; it is not a power source itself.
