ASYNC H7: Mid-drive motor

The H7 is not the cheapest e-bike in the world. We know it. But it is still a bargain considering its premium parts and performance. Besides its carbon fiber frame & handlebars, another factor that adds to its performance (as well as cost) is the mid-drive motor.

Why are mid-drive motors more expensive than their rear hub counterparts? First of all, the mid-drive motor requires a special frame that accommodates the entire motor block, whereas the rear hub motor can be fitted to most standard frames
Also, the mid-drive motor has a more complex design and uses more advanced technology than the rear hub motor, which makes it more costly to produce
Most importantly, the mid-drive motor offers better performance, efficiency, and riding experience than the rear hub motor, which makes it more desirable and valuable for riders

What doesa 500W mid-drive motor mean?
